About United Milking Systems
United Milking Systems was founded from businesses established over 30 years ago. Initially providing supplies and sundries to dairy farmers along the Welsh Borders, it soon became clear that our customers would benefit from properly trained dairy engineers to install and maintain their milking equipment. We therefore developed this area of our business, in due course forming links with GEA Farm Technologies (formerly Westfalia and more recently WestfaliaSurge) to become the dealership for Shropshire.
As our reputation spread, demand for our services increased, and the area we cover has expanded to take in Staffordshire, Cheshire, North Wales, Lancashire and West Yorkshire. This has enabled us to develop a highly professional team with expertise in all areas of our business, ensuring a fast and efficient service to dairy farmers throughout our area.
Now with a staff of 22 (including service and breakdown engineers, installation engineers, cooling engineers, hygiene specialists, project planning and management specialists, and our office support team) United Milking Systems provides a complete milking installation and refrigeration service, helping dairy farmers to produce the highest quality milk in the most cost-effective way. We are the main dealer for GEA Farm Technologies (leading dairy partner to tens of thousands of dairy farmers all over the world) for North Wales, Lancashire, Cheshire, Shropshire and Staffordshire, and are one of GEA Farm Technologies' most respected and influential dealers.
