United Milking Systems specialises in rotary milking parlours. From the conception that a rotary parlour might be the milking solution for your dairy herd to milking-in and beyond, we can help you decide the best configuration to meet your requirements and advise on barn layouts, choice of stalling and milking equipment.
In terms of conventional milking systems, rotary milking parlours are the most labour- and time-efficient. They are therefore often the parlour of choice for medium to large dairy herds. GEA supply a range of rotary milking systems for dairy cows and goats including parlours suitable for both housed and pasture-grazed animals:
- iFLOW – a low cost platform with low maintenance cost designed with seasonal pasture grazing systems in mind
- iDURO Single Beam – a high performance entry level external rotary milking parlour
- DairyRotor T8900 – a high throughput external milking parlour with protection of milking equipment
- AutoRotor Global 90 – a high performance high quality external rotary milking platform
- AutoRotor Magnum 90 – a high specification external milking parlour for optimum milking and cow management
- AutoRotor Magnum 40 – a high quality internal milking parlour offering greater attention to the cow
- AutoRotor Capri 90 – an external goat rotary milking parlour.
You can choose the level of automation depending on your management requirements – from a simple direct-to-line system with little or no automation to a high-tech parlour. Options include:
- The standard Classic 300 cluster, the IQ Cluster – the world’s first four-way milking cluster, or the Apollo™MilkSystem with in-cluster post-dip and cluster disinfection
- A choice of pulsators and pulsation controllers
- DeMax cluster removers (ACR), DemaTron or Metatron milk meters
- DairyPlan C21 herd management program
- Backing gates
- AutoSelect segregation
- Heat detection and health management
- Out-of-parlour feeders
- TaxaTron walk-through weigh scale.
At the planning stages we will ask you what you want to achieve from your investment and discuss different options that may be available to you. For new building projects we provide plans and will liaise with the builder to ensure they meet the exact specifications required for the installation.
During the installation, our dedicated installation team will work efficiently to provide you with a high quality installation in the shortest possible time. We will work with you to minimise disruption to your day-to-day routines, particularly where (for updates and extensions) we will need to work round milking times.
Once installed, the new milking equipment will be subject to a pre-commissioning test to check that it complies with ISO 6690 (2007). We will then take you through all the new equipment to show you how it works and train you in using each component in order to achieve the most benefit to maximise the profitability of your dairy enterprise.
United Milking Systems’ technicians are qualified under the ParlourSafe Scheme providing you with the reassurance that equipment installation, servicing, repair and after-sales support will be to the highest standards.
