The position and route of the fully automated feed pusher is calculated by means of transponders, which are embedded in the floor of the barn with sensor technology and gyroscope on the DairyFeed F4800 unit.
The robust F4800 has a rotating stainless-steel drum, driven by a powerful electric motor with smart speed control.
This means that large or uneven amounts of feed in front of the feed fence are not a problem.
The F4800 is well-equipped to deal with the requirements of a large barn, too.
Two motors with efficient hypoid gearboxes allow the pusher to be operated at two speed levels with 12 meters per minute or 6 meters per minute.
